Koketso Lediga

Koketso Lediga ( our Co-founder and CEO) is an energy and infrastructure lawyer and consultant with with 12+ years of experience in energy law, project finance, policy development . Koketso has an LLB from the University of Pretoria and has just completed an MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from King's College London. She is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa. Koketso worked at law firms such as ENS Africa, Bowmans, Adams & Adams and Allen & Overy (now A&O Shearman) and has been engaged as a consultant by a number of development banks on renewable energy projects in various African countries.
She has experience in managing a small and medium size teams and reporting to and working with various stakeholders including commercial and development banks, contractors, consultants, international energy companies, government officials (including ministers); and has been involved in various energy projects that include solar, wind, biomass, hydro, geothermal, liquified natural gas (floating powerships) as sources of energy and spans over 8 African countries.
Beyond her technical legal expertise, she has experience in moderating panels at reputable conferences in South Africa, Togo, Uganda and Chad on financing of renewable energy projects in African. She further has experience as a board member and currently sits as a member of the board of advisors at Central African Business and Energy Forum; and has been an independent director on the board of Social Advancement Foundation NPC, a non profit company that held a 28% economic interest in McKinsey &Co South Africa.
Her expertise includes legal drafting, development of risk mitigation strategies, derisking infrastructure and energy projects, policy development, strategic leadership, and panel moderation.
Mohamed Ameer Osman Latib

Mohamed Ameer Osman Latib (Financial Operations Executive) is a strategic and results-driven professional with a diverse background in finance, consulting, and accounting. Mohamed has a Bachelor of Business Science in Finance from the University of Cape Town and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with valuable experience at KPMG and McKinsey & Co.
Following his time at McKinsey, Mohamed briefly worked in foreign fund asset management, including involvement with one of the first crypto funds. Seeking to provide more direct solutions to business challenges, he founded Solvere Accounting and Management Consulting in 2019. The company name, derived from the Latin word for "to solve," reflects Mohamed's commitment to addressing real-world problems. Since 2019, Mohamed has provided accounting and consulting services to over 10 companies, maintaining a core client base of 5 companies with combined revenues of nearly R75 million. He also offers consulting services to 6 recurring clients and has completed 12 individual projects to date. Mohamed's expertise spans strategic planning, financial modeling, and business optimization, with particular focus on corporate strategy, growth strategy, and digital transformation. He has experience across various industries, including financial services, utilities, and retail.
Godfrey Katiambo

Godfrey Katiambo (Business Development Manager) is a dynamic professional with a wealth of experience in business development, renewable energy, and social impact initiatives. Godfrey has a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of Nairobi, an MBA in Technology Management/Marketing from Kenya Methodist University and is currently pursuing a Global MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the European School of Management and Technology, Berlin.
He has served as the Senior Regional Advisor – Energy Access at Mercy Corps Energy4Impact, leading high-quality advisory projects focused on productive use of energy, blended finance, and innovation in sub-Saharan Africa.
He has held key roles such as Sector Lead for Climate and Renewable Energy Startups at Energy4Impact Foundation, Impact Manager at Bopinc, and Head of Sales and Operations at SUNami Solar Ltd. His expertise spans to include market research, strategic planning, partnership development, and capacity building, with a passion for driving sustainable solutions and economic growth in the energy sector.
Taah Patience Tifuh

Taah Patience Tifuh (Engineer and Country lead - Cameroon) is a dynamic Electrical and Electronic Engineer dedicated to advancing renewable energy systems and driving sustainable solutions.
Taah has a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Higher Polytechnic Institute, University of Bamenda. With extensive hands-on experience in designing and installing renewable energy systems, Tifuh has contributed to impactful projects, including solar lighting, solar-powered pumping, and micro-hydro installations across both rural and urban communities.
She has participated in the African Young Energy Fellowship (Cohort 2), she has strengthened her technical expertise while refining her financial acumen and leadership skills within the clean energy sector. She is committed to fostering gender inclusion, she actively supports initiatives that empower women in cleantech through her role as Associate Program Coordinator at CAPAWIC (Career Advancement Program for African Women in Clean Technology). She recently completed the Future Female Leaders in Energy course at African Management Institute, where she deepened her knowledge of project management and leadership strategies. She also serves as an instructor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Bamenda.
Sesethu Zingelwa

Sesethu Zingelwa (Legal and Governance Advisor ) is a dedicated legal professional specializing in project development, public-private partnerships and energy. Sesethu has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand. She is an attorney of the High Court or South Africa and has worked at law firms such as ENS Africa and gained hands on experience in contract drafting and regulatory compliance and government projects. Throughout her career, Sesethu has played a role in advising both public and private sector clients, including governments, on complex legal transactions involving infrastructure development, procurement and finance.
Netsanet Taye Seid

Netsanet Taye Seid (CTO) is an accomplished electrical engineer and renewable energy expert with a deep passion for sustainable energy solutions, gender equality, and community empowerment. Netsanet has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Hawassa University. She has pursued various specialized trainings in Renewable Energy Technologies, including Solar Power (Photovoltaic and thermal), Bioenergy, Hydropower, and Onshore Wind. She has also acquired expertise in areas such as Business, Policy, Climate Adaptation, and Mitigation, further enhancing her leadership capabilities with a year-long training program titled "Women in Leadership-Accelerating Positive Change."
Shas has held roles ranging from Junior Electrical Engineer to Senior Electrical Engineer and Renewable Energy Consultant. She led and managed a wide range of projects, from the provision of electrical and telecom infrastructure to the implementation of large-scale renewable energy solutions across Ethiopia. Notable projects include the construction of a 160MW permanent power substation and transmission line at Kilinto Industrial Park, a World Bank-funded initiative, and the development of 60MW substation rehabilitation at Debre Berhan Industrial Park.
Her professional expertise extends to collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, international development partners like USAID and GIZ, and local communities. In addition to managing energy infrastructure, she has designed energy management programs for industrial facilities, including Jay-Jay Textile Industry, and conducted energy audits for wastewater treatment plants.
Beyond her technical expertise, she is committed to fostering the next generation of energy leaders in Africa. She volunteers as a Solar Power Associate at the Africa Fellowship for Young Energy Leaders (AFYEL), where she helps design training programs for emerging leaders across the continent. She is also an Executive Board Member and Treasurer of the Ethiopian Women in Energy Association, where she advocates for women's representation and leadership within Ethiopia's energy sector.
Mpho Sedibe
Mpho Sedibe (Environmental, Social and Governance Manager) is a distinguished Chartered Accountant (SAICA 2012) and Certified Director (IODSA 2022) renowned for her expertise in economic development, BBBEE advisory, and strategic leadership. Mpho has a BCom Accounting Honours and a BCom Accounting from the University of Johannesburg. She also has a Post Graduate qaulification in Organisational and Business Psychology from the University of Liverpool, and a Certificate in Faith and the Marketplace Entrepreneurship Programme from the Joseph Business School.
She has over a decade of experience on boards and trusts, and include positions with the Gauteng Gambling Board, the City of Johannesburg, the Film and Publications Board, the Tshwane Economic Development Agency, and various educational foundations. She also holds trustee roles with notable trusts such as the Altron Ownership Trust and the SGS South Africa Community Ownership Trust.
She founded MOPSY Group, where she currently serves as Managing Director, and under her leadership, MOPSY Group has delivered over R800 million in cumulative economic development value, led a R700 million Transformation budget, and provided BBBEE strategic direction for major acquisitions, including ABInbev and SAB.
Tsundzukani Abednego Moruti
Tsundzukani Abednego Moruti (Senior Engineer) is a mechanical engineer with over a decade of experience the construction and energy (non-renewable sources). Tsundzukani has a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from University of Johannesburg and a Mechanical Engineering Degree in Technology from UNISA.
He further holds the following certifications: Quality Management Systems ISO9001, Auditor/ Lead Auditor certificate from TUV Rheinland, and a Visual Welding Inspector Level 1 certificate from TWI Training and Examination Services Worldwide.

Dr Ivan Twagirashema

▪Dr Ivan is a Senior Consultant with experience in Energy, Mining, Oil&Gas, Industrial Processes and Project Management. In the last 20 years, he started as a scientific researcher at Unite de Catalyse et de Chimie du Solide (UCCS), Lille/France (5 years), later joined private sector in Rwanda (14 years): Executive Director of Rwanda Investment Group Ltd (RIG, a holding company involved in cement, energy and tea); MD of Locus Dynamics (a local projects incubator focusing on research and engineering), CEO of Rwanda Energy Company (REC, methane gas extraction in Lake Kivu + peat harvesting and transformation into electricity).
